Vitamin A rich foods sources

VITAMIN A RICH FOODS SOURCES;

1.CARROTS;

It's only a semi-myth that eating carrots will help you see in the dark. A carrot's main nutrient, beta-carotene (responsible for this root vegetable's characteristic orange color), is a precursor to vitamin A and helps your eyes to adjust in dim conditions.

2.EGG;

Eggs are naturally rich in vitamin B2 (riboflavin), vitamin B12, vitamin D, selenium and iodine. They also contain vitamin A and a number of other B vitamins including folate, biotin, pantothenic acid and choline, and other essential minerals and trace elements, including phosphorus.

3.CANTALOUPE;

Beta carotenes, found in cantaloupes as vitamin A, may help prevent asthma later in life. Choline, an antioxidant found in cantaloupes, may also help to reduce inflammation in people with asthma. The fiber, potassium, and vitamin C present in cantaloupe are vital nutrients for your heart health.

4.TOMATOES;

The provitamin A activity of beta- and gamma-carotene, their modest levels in tomato products, and the high consumption of these foods results in a rich supply of vitamin A activity from tomato-based foods.
