Ingredients.
¼ cup butter
4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
seasoned salt to taste
1 (8 ounce) package sliced fresh mushrooms
2 cups heavy cream
Directions.
1.Preheat the oven to 350° F. (175 degrees C). Chill a ceramic, glass, or metal mixing bowl in the freezer.
2.In a skillet over medium heat, melt the butter until the foam subsides. Season both sides of the chicken breasts with seasoned salt and brown in the melted butter, 5 to 8 minutes per side.
3.Place the chicken breasts in a 9x12 baking dish.
4.Cook and stir the mushrooms in the skillet with the chicken drippings until they begin to brown, about 10 minutes.
5.Serve the chicken breasts with the mushrooms and pan drippings.
6.Pour the cream into the chilled mixing bowl and whip on high speed with an electric mixer for 1 to 3 minutes, or until the cream is fluffy and forms soft peaks. Lightly whipped with a spoon
